Mughal, Shah Jahan (AH 1037-1068, 1628-1658 AD), Silver Rupee, Katak Mint in the last line on the rev, Kalima type struck in the month of “Tir”, 11.38 gms, 22.4 mm.

Arabic Hijri months were replaced Persian month later, how ever it is interesting to know Shah Jahan's predecessors cited only Persian months, It is very unusual as Shah Jahan Katak mint is the only mint which issued coins with Hijri months of which only few are known
